Haus Finds No. 3 | MCM Grape Amber Glass Cluster
Share
Not too long ago, I began what will most definitely be a long process of decluttering at my mom’s house.
Tucked snugly inside her wall cabinet, I rediscovered this vintage MCM glass grape cluster in warm amber tones.
The moment I spotted it, I was instantly transported back to childhood. Sitting in my grandmother’s living room. Seeing these as decoration on the coffee table in front of me.
I’ve always loved them.
The amber glass. The round orb-like shapes. The way the cluster bends ever so slightly when you pick it up—almost like grapes still on the vine. And the way the glass catches the light, reflects it, and seems to change a little every time you walk by.
Beautiful as the piece itself may be, what I love most is what it carries with it.
Mid-century charm and a little family history.
And a reminder that some of the best things we rediscover are the ones that shaped us—simpler times, surrounded by love, warmth, and the people who made us who we are.
