Found on a shelf with a random mix of things in a small thrift shop in North Carolina — brand new, original stickers still intact.
Not exactly something I was looking for. In fact, it was bought to be thrifted.
But when I got home and unwrapped it, it sat on my desk waiting to be catalogued, and somewhere along the way I decided to keep it.
Not for napkins.
These days it holds bills and important papers I can't forget about this week — right at my fingertips and slim enough not to take up much space.

THE FIND
A vintage Bohemia hand-cut 24% lead crystal napkin holder, made in the Czech Republic in the 1970s. It's quite a heavy piece with the classic etched sparkle you'd expect — but also block details that remind me of the glass walls of mid-century homes and their clean geometry.
Though designed for a proper dining table, it seems to have found its real life — elevating my desk, adding a little gravitas, and proving that practical can still be beautiful.
